When you purchase a Peluito Havanese you acquire a puppy that was bred from Champion parents who have passed all of their health clearances. Our puppies are raised in our home with our family and their socialization and health are our number one priority.
All of our show and pet Havanese go to their new homes with:
- A 4 generation pedigree for the puppy.
- Printed copies of the health clearance certificates of the sire and dam (CERF, OFA Hips, OFA Patellas, BAER, CHIC Certificate).
- BAER test results and forms. Your puppy is BAER tested to rule out bilateral or unilateral deafness.
- A full health record from our veterinarian, Dr. Jim Winsor, Inver Grove Heights Animal Hospital which includes the shots administered at 8 weeks, and a printed record of your puppy's growth and development, and the evaluation results for dentition and bite, luxating patellas, the heart examination, and the presence of testicles in males,
- Your puppy's AKC registration forms and a signed copy of the sales contract.
- Your own personalized copy of the HCA (Havanese Club of America) "Your New Havanese Puppy, a New Owner's Handbook" loaded with all kinds of information, including a list of recommended supplies and food, guidelines for feeding your puppy, recommended vaccination protocol, tips for general training and house training, grooming instructions, and general safety information.
Our show prospect puppies are sold on a co-ownership contract. We are available to groom and show your Havanese for you if you wish. We are also available to mentor and assist you every step of the way during your Havanese's show career.
Our pet puppies are sold on a spay/neuter, non-breeding co-ownership contract and are issued AKC Limited registration papers. Papers are signed over to full ownership after proof of spay/neuter is received.
Buying your Havanese from a reputable breeder means that I will be there to help you and answer any questions you may have as your puppy grows and matures into your wonderful companion. We are available and there for you every step of the way.

We DO NOT conduct 'open houses' or special once-a-month visitor days where everyone comes to our home and meets at the same time. We prefer to spend one-on-one time with each person and family, and learn about you nd your interests so that we can match the correct puppy with you and your family. I am available to meet with you and spend quality time answering questions and getting to know each other.
Sorry, we DO NOT ship our puppies. We wouldn't want you to miss out on the opportunity to personally meet our dogs, and see where and how they live!
Sorry, we DO NOT accept Pay Pal, or any other type of credit card payment. Puppies are not "mail order" catalog merchandise.
